The idea behind the “Time Sliced” Project was to photograph iconic world buildings at sunset and capture the changing light from day to night in a single image. Experimenting with a few different kinds of processes I came up with the “Sliced” idea. I decided to Slice time and light showing the progression of the day from left to right.
"I think it’s so easy to get caught up in this kind of mould and structure of what people think dancers should be and look like and I think, even just looking at these shows that are now on television, it’s showing that you can be any colour. Y’know, you don’t have to be stick thin. I think it’s more just about what you’re bringing to this art form and how you’re expressing yourself.”
